Loving one another like Jesus loves us

Loving one another like Jesus love us

Mike Romero

John 13:35 New King James Version

By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”

John 13:35 The Passion Translation

For when you demonstrate the same love I have for you by loving one another,

everyone will know that you’re my true followers.”

People will know I am a follower of Jesus by the way I live my life and treat others. When we love unconditionally and help others and forgive others we can show people around us the way that God loves us and we can lead them into being disciples.

The way I live my life and how I love others is the evidence to the world around me that I am a Jesus-follower.

How I live my life like Jesus is like this: He makes footsteps to follow and I walk right in them. When He calls us to drop everything and follow Him, we need to be ready to go and be willing to make the sacrifices like He did for us.

John 3:16 New King James Version

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son,

that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

• Am I looking for Jesus’ footprints? Am I following Him?

• How can I live my life like Jesus?

• Am I loving other people like Jesus loves me? If not, what can I do to change that?
